Import/Export Licenses Online

Purpose

The software application for import/export licenses and quotas will radically ease the process companies have to go through to get licenses or quotas they need to conduct their business. The application is part of the Single Window border crossing system supported by the Government and thus foreseen to become an important trade facilitator for the business community.

Application functionalities

The application will not only allow companies to get the licenses and quotas by electronic means but also to use them electronically with the Customs Office through the electronic version of the transport document. The system will track the usage of the licenses and quotas giving performance information to the institutions and to companies itself.

Status
Following evaluation of the bids received during the tender process, we have selected ULTRA to develop the software application. At same time, the Project is investigation other possible components/modules which can be add to make this application more even more comprehensive for the business community.
